About
The first events that were held were upstairs in The Hogshead pub in Eastbourne (now known as The London & County) at the end of 2003 before moving on to hosting regular evenings of Northern Soul at Eastbourne Town Hall and the legendary Elm Park Hotel over the following years.
After having taken a small break for a few years, the South Coast Soul Club are now back in full swing and with a great line-up of events for the forthcoming year (and beyond) in and around the Eastbourne area.

What's On in 2025
Saturday 26th April 2025
Join us for an evening of classic and rare Northern Soul at our new venue - the Grove Theatre. Great wooden dancefloor and our very special Guest DJ for this event is Mr David Green.
David is from Brighton, and has been collecting and playing soul and RnB for about 25 years. He was a host of 'Down in the Basement' in Brighton in the early 2000s and, more recently, "The Flipside" and "Dig the Beat". In addition to this, David has recently guested at "Loose Caboose", MG Blues" (Manchester) and "Across the Tracks".
