The South Coast Soul Club was started by two friends who had known each other from their early teenage years and who shared a love of the mod fashion and music, eventually developing into a deep love of all things Northern Soul.  

The first events that were held were upstairs in The Hogshead pub in Eastbourne (now known as The London & County) at the end of 2003 before moving on to hosting regular evenings of Northern Soul at Eastbourne Town Hall and the legendary Elm Park Hotel over the following years.

After having taken a small break for a few years, the South Coast Soul Club are now back in full swing and with a great line-up of events for the forthcoming year (and beyond) in and around the Eastbourne area.
